Chartered on January 1st, 1951, Forsyth Lions Club is not only one of the oldest Lion's Clubs in Southwest Missouri, but also one of the most active clubs. We work hard, and we play hard; proving charity indeed is its' own reward.

Forsyth Lions feel that it is important to give more to our community than our charitable donations and fundraising talents. We support and sponsor several community events; such as, the Forsyth Christmas Parade, Celebrate America's Fireworks, and Youth Rodeos which bring contestants from Southwest Missouri, Northwest Arkansas, and Eastern Oklahoma. Six years ago, we created our 'just for fun & fellowship' Cardboard Boat Race. This year, that race has become the offical Forsyth Fun-Day; with many of the community's not-for-profit groups and Chamber Members coming togeather.
Our Club provides assistance for eyesight and hearing screening, eyeglass and other medical need/supplies funding, and the loaning of wheelchairs and 'Big Eye' equipment. Besides this, Forsyth Lions continues to support various other community projects:
